Saving your receipts can save you BIG at the gas pump in Missouri.
The deadline to submit receipts for the gas tax refund is October 1, fill out and submit form 4923-H to get 5 cents back per gallon of gas purchased between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.
But if you missed out on saving your receipts in 2023 the news gets better over the next few years.
Next year, you will be able to get 7.5 cents back per gallon, 10 cents the next year, and 12.5 cents after that.
Simply keep your gas receipts, fill out this form, mail/email the completed form,and the State Treasurer will write you a check.

If you don’t have your receipts for this year, get 7.5 cents per gallon back by saving your new receipts & submitting the form next year.
