Dopamine’s the “heck yeah, I did it!” chemical, so celebrate your wins, even the tiny ones, or crank up some music and dance like no one’s watching. Bonus points for a little retail therapy.
Serotonin’s your mood stabilizer. Get some sunlight on your face, breathe deeply, maybe meditate for five minutes—basically anything that helps you chill without doom-scrolling.
Oxytocin? That’s the love hormone. Hug someone, cuddle your dog, or join a group that actually makes you feel connected—book club, yoga, whatever fills your social tank.
And for endorphins—the body’s DIY painkillers—hit the gym or just laugh until you snort. Either way, you’ll feel better.
