Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. In Missouri alone, there are more than 120,000 people living with Alzheimer’s and more than 319,000 family members and friends caring for them.
Classic Hits 93.9 is a proud partner of the annual Joplin Walk to End Alzheimer's, Saturday, October 14th.
The group walk will be held at Mercy Park, 28th and St. John's Boulevard. Registration is at 9am, with opening ceremony at 10, followed by the walk.
Proceeds go to provide care, support and research programs of the Alzheimer's Association Greater Missouri Chapter.
