Cocaine Courtesy Call Turns Criminal
By Thom Watts·November 4, 2026
It appears that in Arizona, saying “no, thanks” is fighting talk now.
Police say Arizona’s Samuel Sedgwick walked into a neighbor’s apartment uninvited and offered cocaine. They declined. He allegedly called that “offensive to his culture.”
According to investigators, he peeled off his shirt and started beating a resident. Another occupant, afraid the man would die, intervened with a claw hammer.
Then, police say, Sedgwick pulled a gun, pistol-whipped the victim, and pepper-sprayed the apartment.
But there’s more.
Back home, he reportedly noticed a chipped tooth, and allegedly returned to fire multiple rounds at the apartment.
His getaway vehicle? A bicycle.
Police caught him pedaling away. The victim needed hospital treatment; Sedgwick faces multiple felony charges.
All because somebody passed on the party favors.
