Deodorant Detour Ends in Florida Freeway Fiasco Play Pro Football Pick Em

A guy was cruising the highway near Lakeland, Florida Sunday morning, apparently deciding his armpits were funkier than a Stevie Wonder/Earth, Wind & Fire/Lipps, Inc. mashup, and needed emergency attention. So, while rounding a curve in his GMC Sierra, he started applying deodorant.

That’s when the truck met a roadway crash guard, then climbed up and parked itself on top of a concrete median wall.

No one was hurt, amazingly. The driver walked away, presumably smelling mountain-fresh, but he did get a careless-driving ticket.

And yes, Florida Highway Patrol cleared up the mystery that had the internet sweating: it was stick deodorant, not spray.

The moral from troopers? Keep your hands on the wheel and save the pit-stop grooming for the parking lot. Because nothing says “fresh scent” quite like hot rubber, busted metal, and a rising insurance deductible.
