Drug Dealer Offers Loyalty Cards

Some drug dealers look for ways to legitimize their business, but usually, not like this. (Although it is creative!)

Police say Andi Selencia was selling magic mushrooms, marijuana products, and apparently handing out discount loyalty cards under the business name “Flower Daddy.” Because nothing says illegal narcotics quite like a catchy business name with a flashy rewards program.

It’s not clear whether customers got a free eighth after ten purchases, or maybe a complimentary tote bag. Court records don’t spell out the perks.

Investigators say Selencia sold mushrooms to an undercover officer, then agreed to a much bigger sale—two pounds of mushrooms and a pound of marijuana. That’s when police moved in.

They say searches of homes connected to him, plus his Honda Civic, turned up mushrooms, marijuana, cash, scales, a pistol… and more Flower Daddy loyalty cards.

He now faces seven felony drug charges, with two counts carrying possible 40-year sentences. So, unfortunately, it looks like the loyalty program has been discontinued.
