Gator Brawl Create Florida Patio Pandemonium

So imagine you’re home with a sleeping baby, hear a racket on the patio, and immediately think… “Uh oh, home invasion.” That’s exactly where Kayla Burress’ brain went—until she peeked outside and realized, nope… just Florida doing Florida things.

Two full-grown alligators had busted through her screened lanai and were going full WWE on her patio . We’re talking tail-biting, wall-slamming, mesh-shredding chaos. Not romantic. Not subtle. Definitely not a “nature is beautiful” moment.

She even caught video of it—because of course you do when your backyard turns into a reptile fight club.

A trapper eventually wrangled the scaly sparring partners and relocated them, but not before they left behind a trashed patio and a solid reminder: in Florida, “what was that noise?” is never a simple question.
