Police Stop Homemade Couch Cruiser

Two guys in Charlotte, North Carolina decided walking was too much work, and apparently, driving required too much... car.

So they slapped a small couch across two electric Lime scooters and rolled down busy city street. What could go wrong?

Well… cops.

Officers pulled over the upholstered express before this little sofa safari went any farther.

Police said they appreciated the creativity. Translation: nice couch, boys. Now get it out of traffic.

Their concern? Other drivers might get distracted watching two dudes commute on furniture. Fair point. It’s hard to watch the road when the hooptie rolling up next to you in traffic is a loveseat.

No word on whether either man got a ticket. No exact location released, either.

Just two guys, two scooters, and one spectacularly wild transportation plan.
