Red Lobster Dinner Dodge Ends Behind Bars

A Georgia man apparently tried one of the oldest tricks in the "Dine and Dash" playbook: fake a medical emergency and flee the scene.
Police say Abdul Hakeem Rasheed was dining at Red Lobster when his bill landed...$63.77. Instead of paying for the buttery bounty he’d hauled in, cops say he called 911 and pretended to be having a medical emergency.
First responders checked him out, found no actual crisis, and the alleged shellfish shakedown unraveled fast.
Rasheed was arrested the next day, charged with theft of services and unlawfully using 911. His bond: $3,000.
The bad news: he allegedly tried to dodge a 64-dollar dinner and wound up facing a three-grand bond. That’s not endless shrimp—that’s bottomless bad decisions. The WORSE news: There are no cheddar bay biscuits in the "Big House."
