Tunnel Trickery Triggers Traffic Trouble

So… this feels like something Wile E. Coyote would absolutely sign off on.

A guy in Glasgow somehow drove straight into a wall… because the wall looked like a tunnel. Not a real tunnel. A mural. Painted on. With big cartoon-ish “eyes” meant to resemble an entrance on a slip road near the Clyde Tunnel.

This happened Sunday afternoon, and yeah—emergency crews showed up, the driver ended up at the hospital, but thankfully it doesn’t sound like anything life-threatening.

Now, to be fair, the mural does kind of mess with your depth perception a bit. But also… there are curbs. And lights. And, you know… reality.

So either this was a very committed trust fall with public art… or just a wildly bad day behind the wheel.

Either way, somewhere, a cartoon coyote is whispering, “See? It happens.”
