If your morning routine is basically “open eyes, grab coffee, hope for the best”… yeah, same. But apparently that’s not doing you any favors.
Doctors say your energy isn’t just about caffeine — it’s sleep timing, stress, hydration… all the annoying responsible stuff. But the fixes are actually pretty simple.
First, drink some water. Your body’s been on airplane mode all night — give it something to work with.
Then get a little movement in. Nothing intense. A short walk, a few stretches… just enough to remind your body you’re alive.
Eat an actual breakfast — not just early morning vibes and coffee. Something balanced so your blood sugar doesn’t immediately betray you.
And speaking of coffee… don’t chug it the second you wake up. Wait about 30 to 90 minutes. It works better, and you won’t crash as hard later.
So to recap... water, move a little, eat something real, and delay the coffee. Annoyingly simple… but also kind of effective.
