Man Drives Flaming Car On Highway

So, picture this a 60‑year‑old dude, slightly marinated in booze, is cruising down a major Florida highway, when his car literally catches fire. Most of us would’ve pulled over, right? Not Patrick Rinaldi. (The afore mentioned 60-year-old dude.) He stopped for a second, watched the smoke billow, then decided, “Eh, it’ll probably work itself out,” and took off again, this time with full‑blown flames.

At one point, he managed to spark a small brush fire on the side of the road before firefighters even showed up. Meanwhile, Patrick’s wife is still in the car, probably rethinking every life decision that led to this moment. They finally stop for good when the inferno wins. She barely gets out; he stumbles after her.

Police say Patrick smelled like a distillery and had those signature “I’ve only had one beer” eyes — the glossy, bloodshot ones. And wouldn’t you know it, there’s a bottle sitting on the floorboard. The sheriff even joked that’s what they call “a clue.” Patrick now gets to sober up while facing Drunk Driving and refusal to take a DUI test charges, lucky to be alive, but definitely not bragging about this road trip.
