Backhoe Batman Bungles Bank Heist

On the Caribbean island of  Tobago, a group of guys decided to pull off a full-on movie heist… and instead delivered a blooper reel.

They stole a backhoe from a beach—already a bold opening move—then rolled up to yank an ATM like they were filming a Temu version of the Ocean’s movies.

Security video shows four of them fumbling around, including one guy dressed head-to-toe in black with a poncho flapping in the wind like Batman on laundry day. At one point, “Batman” trips over debris and wipes out while trying to direct traffic. Not exactly Gotham’s finest hour.

They do manage to drag the ATM to the sidewalk… which is where the whole thing falls apart. The backhoe arm breaks, they can’t lift the machine into their truck, and after about ten minutes of chaos, they just give up and drive off.

Empty-handed. In a stolen car. After stealing a backhoe. To steal nothing.

The video’s now gone viral, the internet’s having a field day, and somewhere there’s a headline that basically reads: “Backhoe Batman Bungles Bank Heist.”
