So this guy in Pennsylvania took the phrase “home wrecker” to a... pretty aggressive new level.
Erik comes home after a night of drinking, and his wife basically says, “Yeah, we’re done.” Not great timing, not great delivery—who knows—but it turns into a full-on argument.
And in the middle of it, he goes, “If it’s over, I’ll tear the house down.”
Which sounds like something you say in a fight… and then immediately don’t do.
But Erik DID.
Walks outside, hops into an excavator, and starts ripping into the house. While his wife and two daughters are still inside.
Thankfully, they’re okay. Wife calls 911, police show up before this turns into a much worse story—but not before he does some serious damage. Part of the roof is gone, and now the whole place might be structurally shot.
He’s facing charges like causing a catastrophe, disorderly conduct, and reckless endangerment… which feels about right when your breakup strategy involves heavy machinery.
And yeah… she’s also filing for a protection order. Which—at this point—feels less like a next step and more like basic common sense.
