So this guy in South L.A. decides the best way to impress his date is to fire up his Mercedes and start doing donuts. You know… tires squealing, smoke everywhere, full bad boy behind the wheel energy.
Only problem? He picked a parking lot directly in front of a California Highway Patrol office. Not near it. Not down the street. In front of it.
A CHP sergeant hears the noise, pulls up the security camera, and—sure enough—there’s a Mercedes out there putting on a full smoke show like it’s halftime entertainment.
He walks out, talks to the driver, and the guy just… owns it. Says he was trying to impress the woman in the car and didn’t realize he was basically auditioning for arrest right outside a police station.
Which, honestly, is impressively honest.
Then comes the field sobriety test… which he fails. So now he’s under arrest for DUI, and the Mercedes gets hauled off for a 30-day impound.
So yeah—date night ends with flashing lights, a tow truck, and a story she’s definitely telling forever.
Moral of the story: if you’re going to make bad decisions… maybe don’t do it under surveillance cameras at a police station.
