So these two guys are cruising through Central Florida with a dead alligator literally strapped to the roof of their car, like it’s luggage or something.
Turns out, you can’t do that. People actually warned them it was illegal, so they tried to be “discreet” by throwing a white sheet over the gator, which somehow makes it worse.
When cops finally pulled them over near Melbourne, the duo claimed they didn’t kill it — just “found” it on the side of the road and wanted it stuffed.
Anyway, both were arrested for illegal possession of an alligator, which in Florida is a felony. Bond was set at five grand, and they’ll get to explain the whole rooftop reptile situation in court later this month.
