A Tuesday evening youth football game in Fort Myers basically turned into “Football Frenzy” when a brawl broke out on the field. Parents come pouring in… and that’s where things go sideways.
One mom, Renee Lambert, allegedly runs onto the field and starts kicking a 13-year-old player from the other team… while he’s already on the ground.
Yeah. Not exactly the pep talk the league had in mind.
Witnesses say she kept going after the kid, and deputies didn’t have a hard time figuring out who to talk to. Video shows her arguing the whole way through it, insisting, “the kid hit me first.”
Deputy’s response? Basically: I’m not mad at the kid… I’m mad at the adult kicking him.
She’s now facing charges for child abuse and resisting arrest, with a court date set for June 1st.
No word on if she received a 10-yard penalty for an illegal kick.
