Cops in Miami-Dade pick up Christopher Chiofalo — a man they are VERY familiar with, because he’s been arrested almost 20 times.
They take him down to the station and cue up the security video from a Cuban restaurant that got hit back on July 25th. He watches it for a second and goes, “Oh yeah, I broke into that place a while back… looks familiar… yeah, that’s me. You got me.”
No dramatic denial, no “that’s not me,” just straight-up self-ID on the burglary tape like it’s his highlight reel.
Between all his previous cases — a bunch of them burglaries and robberies — and this one, he’s now looking at charges for armed burglary, grand theft, and criminal mischief. The restaurant’s out about fifty-two hundred bucks in damage and stolen cash, and Christopher is back where he apparently spends a lot of his time: booked into Miami-Dade county jail, again.
