Security cameras caught him sneaking into the bird habitat, snatching a flamingo named “Peachy,” and hauling it back to his room like it was part of the minibar. He even roughed up a few other birds on his way out. Classy.
When police showed up, Mitchell said he was just trying to “help.” Claimed he saw a bird in distress and wanted to “pop its wing back into place” — because, you know, farm boy instincts. Turns out his “help” left several birds injured, and now he’s facing four felony animal abuse charges.
The good news? The flamingos are getting vet care and should recover. As for Mitchell — he’s banned from the Strip and probably rethinking his life choices… or at least his next vacation spot.
