There’s apparently a “Mexican Batman” out there, and instead of gadgets and a cave, this guy’s weapon of choice is… duct tape.
Over about a week in Jalisco, five suspected motorcycle thieves were found taped to lampposts like very questionable decorations. We’re talking full wrap job—plus a little extra flair: the word “rat” written across their foreheads, sometimes even drawn-on whiskers, just in case the message wasn’t subtle enough.
Oh, and their allegedly stolen bikes? Parked right there next to them. Like a very awkward showroom.
In one case, two guys got bundled together on the same pole, which feels less like justice and more like a weird team-building exercise.
Authorities are not amused. They’re calling the taped-up guys “victims” for now and reminding everyone that, you know, vigilante justice is still very much illegal.
Police are now trying to track down this duct-tape crusader—who’s basically running his own low-budget superhero franchise… one lamppost at a time.
