A woman in Houston decided to pick up pole dancing at home… which, honestly, good for her. New hobby, new skills, living her best life.
Except three days in, the pole she just installed came loose from the ceiling mid-practice… and smacked right into the fire sprinkler.

Instant indoor rainstorm. Water everywhere. Her apartment, the neighbor’s apartment, basically a surprise water park nobody asked for.
She said she just stood there in shock like, “There’s no way this is happening right now,” which feels like the only appropriate reaction as your living room turns into the iconic moment out of "Flashdance" turned up to 11.
Furniture ruined, had to move units… but shoutout to the downstairs neighbor for being cool about it, because that could’ve gone very differently.
Also, she did save her dog and made it outside before the fire trucks showed up, so… small wins.
She says she’s officially done pole dancing at home.
