A Florida woman was trying to rekindle things with her husband... but instead, she ended up lighting more than the fires of passion.
Melissa Dunham had moved back in with her ex in Homosassa to celebrate their son’s 18th birthday. Cute, right? But instead of sparks flying romantically, it was more like... sparks flying out the windows.
After a week of constant arguing, and a few police visits, Melissa packed her bags, grabbed the dogs, and walked past her husband sitting in his car. She told him, “Now we both don’t have anything.” Only, she used a spicier word for “anything.”
Moments later, smoke was pouring out of the house. Deputies say Melissa had meth and weed in her purse, which, you’ve gotta admit, explains a lot about her decision-making that morning.
She’s now facing charges for arson, drug possession, and paraphernalia. So yeah... that whole “rekindle the relationship” plan? Technically, mission accomplished, just not the way she hoped.
