So, this guy in Huber Heights, Ohio, takes off running after a traffic stop. Cops lose him for a bit, but they hang around the neighborhood—because, you know, fugitives don’t usually make great getaway plans.
Meanwhile, it’s trash day. A sanitation worker rolls a can up to the truck, pops the lid, and almost jumps out of his skin—because there’s a full-grown man inside. Yep, our guy decided his best hiding spot was next to last night’s leftovers.
Right on cue, a patrol car just happens to be behind the garbage truck. The cop sees the commotion, the lid flies open, and the dude pops up like a jack-in-the-box... then bolts again. Spoiler alert—he doesn’t get far.
Turns out, the suspect, Jonathan McMillan, already had a warrant out. Police nicknamed him “Oscar the Grouch,” which feels about right. He was booked for resisting arrest and obstructing official business… and hey, at least he got a warning for the traffic violation. Talk about taking out the trash.
