Down in Louisiana, Victor Rivas gets pulled over after allegedly driving like he’s in a stunt driver audition—already hit a concrete barrier, blew a tire, the whole deal. Troopers start a DWI check… and he decides, “You know what? I’m gonna run.”
Not just run—he jumps off an elevated interstate into a swamp.
For a minute, he disappears. Then they spot him walking along the highway… so naturally, he runs again. Back into the swamp.
And that’s when the swamp fights back.
An alligator attacks him. Both arms injured. Most people would call it a night at that point—lesson learned, right?
Nope. He keeps running.
Troopers finally track him down with a drone, get him to a hospital, and then book him on DWI, hit-and-run, resisting arrest… basically everything short of “poor decision-making in a reptile’s crash pad.”
Moral of the story: if you’re fleeing police, maybe look before you leap.
