Woman Breaks Into Home, Eats Fruity Pebbles, Pets Dog

Hitting close to home, last Tuesday, a woman in Springfield, Missouri walked into a random house, poured herself some Fruity Pebbles, and started petting the family dog. Totally normal Tuesday, right?

The homeowner’s kid smelled something burning and went downstairs to find a stranger in the kitchen — pantsless, by the way — surrounded by milk and cereal like it was some kind of modern art piece. The stove was on, the milk was everywhere, and the dog didn't seem to mind, getting love scratches behind the ears.

Mom comes in, tells the woman to clean up her mess (which, respect for still trying to parent the situation), then calls 911. Cops show up, and the woman admits she’d “consumed a bottle of marijuana” and thought the house was "a fair."

She’s now facing a burglary charge — and probably not invited back for breakfast.
