So, picture this — you’re in the back of an ambulance, minding your own business… when suddenly it starts moving. And your driver? A naked guy who was just doing push-ups in public.
Police in Wisconsin Rapids say Benjamin Feltz hopped into an ambulance while paramedics were treating someone in the back. One paramedic tried to stop him, but Feltz took off — with the patient still inside — kicking off an 18-mile chase down the highway.
Deputies from multiple counties jumped in, threw down stop sticks, and finally cornered the ambulance in a muddy field near Pittsville. Feltz refused to come out, so officers used a drone to make sure the patient was okay before taking him into custody. Luckily, the patient was recovered safely.
Feltz, meanwhile, racked up quite the list of charges, including reckless endangerment, operating while intoxicated, and yes — lewd and lascivious behavior… which feels like the least surprising part of this story.
